Whichever size you choose, the rating only works with a good seal. Check these three things every time.
Each cushion should surround the ear completely, with no gaps at the top or bottom.
Move hair, hats and glasses arms out from under the cushions so nothing breaks the seal.
Adjust the headband so it sits securely without pressing. If you can slide a finger under a cushion easily, tighten it.

What is the difference between Baby and Kids Earmuffs?
Size and fit. Baby Earmuffs are designed for newborns to 2 years, with a softer, lower-pressure headband and wide cushions for small heads. Kids Earmuffs are designed for ages 2 and up, with a sturdier adjustable headband that grows with your child. Both carry the same NRR 26 dB rating.
Do Baby and Kids Earmuffs give the same protection?
Both are independently tested to NRR 26 dB (SNR 31 dB). Real-world protection depends on a good seal, so choose the size that fits your child's head and check the fit each time.
My child is close to 2. Which should I buy?
BANZ Baby Earmuffs are designed for ages 0–2 and Kids Earmuffs for ages 2 and up. If your child is near 2, check the fit: if the baby headband is at its largest setting or the cups no longer cover the ears fully, move up to Kids Earmuffs.
Can newborns wear BANZ Baby Earmuffs?
