Snow days, sorted

On snow, the sun comes at them twice.

Fresh snow is one of the most reflective surfaces a child will ever play on, bouncing UV radiation straight back up. So a child on a sled, a tubing hill, or their first bunny slope is taking sun from above and from below at the same time — and the higher you go, the more of it there is to begin with.

Children's eyes are also clearer than adult eyes. Less light gets filtered on the way in, which is exactly why the habit matters more at five than it does at thirty-five.

And then there's the practical half of it: a kid squinting into glare isn't watching where they're going.

3 colorways. One very good pair of goggles.

What you're actually paying for

Lens

UV400 protection

Blocks UVA and UVB wavelengths up to 400 nanometers — the same standard we hold our sunglasses to, not a lighter version of it.

Coating

Anti-fog

A warm face behind a cold lens is what fogs goggles. The coating is there so they can keep them on instead of pushing them up onto their forehead.

Build

Impact-resistant lenses

Made for children who will drop these, sit on these, and find them at the bottom of a bag in March.

Fit

Adjustable strap

Sized for kids 3 and up, and adjustable enough to still fit next season. Check the size guide above if you're between sizes.

Not just for resort days

Most of these never see a chairlift, and that's fine. Glare off snow doesn't care whether you're on a mountain or in the backyard.

  • First ski or snowboard lesson
  • The sledding hill
  • Tubing and snow play
  • Snow days in the backyard
  • Snowshoe and winter walks
  • Outdoor ice rinks

Where these claims come from

Questions parents actually ask

What age are these for?
They're designed for children aged 3 and up, with an adjustable strap so the fit lasts more than one season. The size guide above has the full guidance if you're deciding between sizes.
How do I keep them from fogging?
The lens is anti-fog coated from the start. The single biggest thing you can do to protect that coating is to never wipe or rub the inside of the lens — rinse them in cool fresh water after use and let them air dry instead.
Are these only for skiing?
No. Sledding, tubing, snow play and winter walks all put a child's eyes under reflected glare, and these are made for all of it.
Why do kids need goggles on snow at all?
Snow is highly reflective, so UV reaches the eyes from below as well as from above — we cover this in how reflective surfaces increase UV exposure. Children's eyes also filter less of that light than adult eyes do, which is why eye protection is worth building into the routine early.
What colors can I get?
Pink, White, Black — all at the same price. Pick one in the color section above and it will load into the buy box at the top of the page.
